Childhood Obesity
Childhood obesity rate in America has increased to 18percents. it also has become an epidemic in society, although it seems that the main concern with obesity is about external appearance, the true problems associated with it . According to the CDC(Centers for disease Control and Prevention)obesity has been linked to everything from the popularity of watching TV,Playing Video game and sort of sedentary life styles. Unhealthy eating habits are also a major cause of the obesity. Eating junk food, snacks, furthermore, children of parents that eat at restaurant and fast food chains regularly are causes their children becomes well above the normal weights and heights than same ages of the group of the children. this essay will describe proposed solutions to the problem of childhood obesity. finally, this essay will propose the best solution and explain its problems.
Since obesity is a common problem in children life's. Puetorican governments have proposed a law that they feel can end this epidemic. according to the article"Local Governments Seek to Reduce Obesity in Kids law makers in Puetorico approach the problem by setting a fine for parents of the obesed children, counselors are assign to children with obesity to help them with diet and exercise plan. this includes healthy meals and training.every four week children will checked for progress, if there's no improvement, parents will be fined up to 500$and it could be increased to 800$ if there is no advancement made for another half year. but those who against of this law think differently,"How absurd is it to put fines on people who are suffering from a condition and are already at an economic disadvantage? what is next? obesity prisons?" said by Ted Kyle, Chairman of the obesity action coalition from the U.S News World Report. People who are obese have less job opportunities and are discriminated for their body so how would it be possible for them to pay such a high fine when they are at such disadvantage. Since people are starting get fine for disease such as this, they will begin to fear about the future of the other disease. " What is next? will they be fining of children suffering from other disease?Maybe diabetes? Maybe cancer? Maybe some other disease?" Said Nikhil Dhurandhar who chairs the department of Nutritional Science at Texas University (from the article"Expert "Appalled"by Puetorican Bill to fine parents of obese children"). On the other hand, governor will agree to this plan as they see beneficial factors for obese children as parents fear getting fine they will push their kid toward healthier life style.
Aside from the solution above, to expanding the time for Physical Education Class in school is also a great way to keep children away from the obesity. As long as the technologies are developing, the obesity epidemic among youth is begin with escalates, elevators or sort of those which involves passive activities. Particularly, children are spending times to more watching TV,Playing Video games and computers than ever before. Thus, it makes all the more important for children to exercise as early as they are possible. According to the Official News of Spark(OOS), Children have the advantage of a leaner, stronger figure with lower risk of obesity than who has the obesity. On the other hand, they also mentions that if schools provide quality equipments and trained supervision then teacher will be aware of the best, and then many appropriate teaching method are available for children to keep their interests. Finally children will be guaranteed from the chance to improve their life style from sedentary to healthy.

HAPPY
What is happiness determined by ? According to the film "HAPPY" directed by ROKO BELIC, the main character started research, going around to several countries interviewing people about happiness. He came up with the formula that people's happiness consists of 50%of genetic,10% circumstances and 40% of intentional activity. This means people's happiness can be as much about choices as their decision. The director suggests that 50% of happiness is genetically predetermined, while 10% is due to life circumstances and 40% is the result of people's own personal outlook. Genetic means an attribute that is determined by a gene or group of genes and it constitutes half percentages of happiness.Another 10% of happiness is affected by personal circumstances. According to the director, people's circumstances are not very relevant to their happiness, but the impact is not zero. Briefly, it means when circumstances change for good or bad, people adjust fairly quickly to those new environments. The remaining 40% consists of "Intentional Activity". Generally speaking, intentional activity has an quite impact on people's life and happiness. The fact is that the genetic set point is not able to be changed and even life circumstances are beyond human's control. But the "Intentional Activity" is the segment where people can make a big difference to happiness. in short,"Intentional Activities"implies peoples own intention to manifest them and it can be manageable. To sum up, the set point data appear to suggest that we all are subject to our genetic programming that we all are destined to be only as happy as that"Programming"allows, In actuality they do not, our genes do not determine our life experience and behavior. indeed our hard-wiring can be dramatically influenced by our experience and our behavior. This essay will be discussing the importance of happiness and impact of happiness on people's life.
I believe the main character In the book "Until I Say Goodbye"by Susan Spencer will agree with the set point data above which from the film"HAPPY" directed by ROKO BELIC. In this book, Susan frequently shows readers about her choice to live with joy and happiness. This book talks about a woman who makes the most of her final days after she discovered that she had progressive muscle disease and it might cut her life short. According to this book, the main character Susan had few circumstances in her life. She was adopted when she was young and she was diagnosed ALS. Also her child has "Asperger" diagnosis. but the way she faced her impending destiny was quite positive. she showed different attitudes about finding her biological mother, from wishes to hates and back to normal. but finally she decided to find her and meet her. she ended up finding her and enjoyed valuable time with her mother. Even after she discovered that she has ALS, she did not commits suicide, she came up with a resolution "To living with Joy". she had traveled to every place that she wanted to go and with person whom she wanted to be with. she had also made a bucket list and followed it before she passed away from ALS. To put it differently, her "Intentional Activities" made her lived a full life.
As I watched the film, a sense agreement dwells in my mind. it is true that we can't control the circumstances that we are in , but our genetic and intentional activities plays a major role in our ability to feel happy. Immigration to America was something i thought was horrible at first, because there post too much that needed to be left behind. it was a big change yes, and i was at the time devastated and homesick. this mixture of feelings over took my brain and made me feel really depressed. but being the person that i was, my cheerfulness and enthusiastic personality helped me grow accustomed to this community. i made myself go out every day just so i could get used to the surroundings, communicate with others and tries to find some familiar taste of home in this foreign place. You see, the circumstances i was in were not changeable, there was no way i could back out. However with my 50% happy go lucky personality making myself feel better was easy. By forcing my self out of the shell was my 40% of intentional activities. Instead of being depressed and miserable, i find ways that could make me feel less lonesome and more happy.
In the future, the key to my happiness is to see the bright sides under all circumstances. There are always ups and downs in life, happy or not we still have to face them so why can't we think the best out of all situations. All of the emotions are in our own hands and it is our intention that makes us feel what we want to feel. in the next five, ten, twenty years of my life, no matter where i am or what I'm doing, my intentional activity will always be looking for the bright side. Because it is only when we truly want to be happy, that we can feel happy.

opinion birth order
According to the article “How your birth order influences your life” by Lucil K Forer, birth order does affect children’s characters furthermore, their life will also affected by their birth order., this means the difference between sibling is more related to their birth order. However I disagree with author’s opinion children’s ability and personality doesn’t matter with their birth order. It should based on whether the child is an orders or middle or a youngest or an only child. But we have to figure some factors such as the individual biological make up and environmental impacts or what circumstances they were in. as the author says, the only child needed to be more concerned than other child, but I could tell it is not based on their birth order
My cousin can be an example. He grew up in a poor neighborhood in china. The middle school that he went to one day decided to pave the dirt road. The students were required to bring bricks and cements to school and they worked really hard for three weeks. Finally, they built a road. My cousin did it with no complain and never tried to beg off from the site. He lived in poor financial environment it gets him to do most of thing by himself such as cooking, doing laundry, cleaning house and sort of chores. It makes him to be a tolerance person.so he completed it while his classmates wants to walk away from the sites.
It shows that the ability and responsibility for a child is not based on their birth order. It depends on their circumstances or environments instead.

Friendship Essay
what is friendship? According to the definition from the online dictionary,Friendship is the state of being friends or the emotions or conduct of friends. Through our life we have met many people that we considered "Friends", while we form the highest number of friends in younger age we tends to have less friend as we grow older. the reason why is that as we mature we know how to differentiate bad friends from the good friends thus staying away from them. Friends are very important in our lives because it makes us be able to connect and bond with others.
You can make friends under many circumstances, when you share the same interest, ethnicity,or belief, etc. with someone else you can connect with just one simple topic. However there are several stages when gaining a true friendship.According to the article"The Five Stages of Friendship" by Erica Djossa, We all start out as "Strangers" to the people around us, but when you start seeing a person on a regular basis you guys will be known as "acquaintance". At this stage you will get to know each through small talks and interactions. The third stage is the "peer", now you have come through the small talks and you want to know more about the person. Things such as finding a common interest and goals can get you really talking. The fourth stage will be "Friends", when you reach this stage you will start sharing secrets with each other and can comfortably talk about your emotions toward certain things.the fifth and last stage is "best friends". This is the closet relationship you can have with someone besides your family and romance. These are the people you can trust and work together to get through life. They will point out your mistakes and help you grow and you know they will always be there for you.
Friends are an essential in our life, but while we all want more friends we tends to have less"Close friends" as we gets older because our trust for other people will also decrease. But having some close friendship can still b e very helpful for example there will always be times when you want to talk to someone about your feelings. while it feels kind of awkward discussing it with your parent most people will turn to their best friends, whether or not they can really understand you , it is nice when you confess all your troubles to that someone you trust, and knowing they will not judge you no matter what makes you feel safe. Having a close friendship also help you connected to a broader world. As your friend can introduce you to other people you will be able to meet them and widen your social circles making it easier to find jobs, relationship, etc.
Friendship is important because that is what brings us together, to be able to connect outside of your inner-self. Many people have at least one or more close friends in their life, these friends are like a second family helping us get through the rough times and happy times. Strong friendship is not easy to build, patience, love , effort, and trust are all the main components that are needed. So when you find that person who is willing to do all these, even one friend is enough.
